I was nervous about using these for onesie and rompers but I needed something more secure than Kam snaps. My kids change the baby and the kam snaps pop off, but not these. These are very secure. I use a hammer with 3 sure taps and these don't come off. The colors are fun but I mainly use the silver. Great quality and there are so many.

My daughter recently had a baby, and I decided I would make some baby clothes. After not sewing for quite a number of years things have changed a lot. Of course on my first article that I made. I remembered about the crotch on baby clothes and had to so many snaps in place. For the next article of clothing, I found snaps that are already mounted on pieces of tape, and you just sew the tape down like you would show in the zipper. This is a great innovation, but one small piece for example, for one pair of pants is $10! That’s way too much. Then I remembered my grandmother had this contraption that pushed the snaps into the clothes and I looked at Joannes. They were very expensive and they did not have much variety of snaps to go with the tool. Most of the hooks were empty and it was difficult to figure out which snaps , you were supposed to use with which tool. I decided to look here on Amazon and found this kit, and I’m very happy with the variety, and with the ease of attaching the snaps! Yay! No more handsewing snaps!

I love this kit. I pruchased after I broke a piece to my name brand pliers. I figured since it was going to cost me roughly the same after shipping to get the replacement piece, I would try this kit first. First off. The size of the plier is much more manageable than the name brand. You dont have to put much pressure to connect the pieces. You also dont have to mess around with swapping out pieces to get the right fit. It comes with a kit of different colors nealty organized which has been super belpful. The pliers have a permanent piece that allows you to keep the pliers closed vs. the seperate piece that I immediately lost for the name brand. No cons to this kit, only pros!

I read all the reviews for these pliers and purchased it thinking it might be really difficult to use. Once I got it I tried it on scrap fabric, so I pressed a few snaps on there to get the hang of which side goes where. After practicing on about 4 snaps, I was ready to use it on the baby clothes I made. I don't need to press the snaps twice either, I just press it one time as hard as I can, and the snaps are secure. There only issue I had was flipping the "female" side of the snap the wrong way when I was practicing. I've used plastic snaps for years but for baby clothes, these metal snaps are way better!

These snaps are packaged very well and you get quite a lot of them. They come in a few different colors also. I have never used nor applied snaps before so I wasn’t sure of the complexity of doing so. It actually turned out quite easy if almost fun. The instructions were easy to follow and I ended up actually finding more items to use these on. You get so many that I will probably have them a lifetime lol. I definitely recommend this product!
